Under limited supervision, plans, supervises and assigns work to staff responsible for installing, replacing, repairing and maintaining street lights, traffic signals, and park and recreational lights; performs related work as assigned. Education and/or Experience Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for acceptable job performance would qualify. Example combinations include completion of accredited college courses in basic electronics and electricity, written and oral communications, elements of supervision and four years of journey level experience in street light and signal repair, of which two years must be comparable to that of a Street Light and Signal Mechanic with the City of Pasadena and one year must be comparable to that of a Street Light and Signal Repairer with the City of Pasadena.
